Rotary Club 24 Helps Install Slide for Physically Challenged Children
The Environmental Committee`s Rotary Play Park subcommittee, headed by Ryan Patano, has completed its assignment as of Friday with the Salt Lake City Public Parks to install a slide at the Liberty Park play area for physically challenged children. This slide will allow children with disabilities the opportunity to slide from the top walkway to the playground below. All children using the park will be able to use the slide.
The Rotary Club 24 Foundation and the Salt Lake Parks Department (Val Pope) were co-participants in the completion of the slide. The Foundation contributed $2,000.00 for materials, and the Public Parks Department contributed the labor.
